HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION

I am usually off work during the summer, as I work in the public school system. So when school is out, so am I. This particular year I decided to work during the summer. As a Janitor, kind of. During the summer is when the school system does it's cleaning, which makes sense, as there aren't any kids around. My I worked at our local High School cleaning, moving furniture, or anything that needed done. This is a 2 page layout. This first page has some photos of all of us waiting. Waiting for what, to get our working orders for the day. These are some of the folks I worked with.





This second page is of some of the areas I cleaned this summer. That included lockers. Lots and lots of lockers. And floors, baseboards, windows, and anything else that needed cleaning. The person standing at the bottom of the page and to the right is me. And yes, that's a camera hanging around my neck. I took it to work one day so I could get some photos for my scrapbook.

STAR FISHERMEN

This is a layout I done of my son and hubby. They had gone fishing at a friends house. They came home with a bucket full of Blue Gill.

SPLISH SPLASH

This one is of my niece Zoey and my Great Nephew Noah. Zoey was taking a bath and Noah came into the bathroom. So Noah got in the tub and they had a great time. You see the white cup they are playing with? It's a Styrofoam cup. I cut one up and put it on my layout. I really liked using this and adding some dimension to my page.

SISTERS

This is a layout I done of all of my sisters and nieces. I made hats and scarfs for my family as Christmas gifts. We all put them on and someone took a picture of all of us together. In this picture there are Sisters, Aunts, Nieces and Cousins.

SILLINESS

This is my niece Meagan. She had just had her bridal shower. After everyone had left and the room was all cleaned up, she sat down and put this bra on her head. Totally silly!! But it was a great shower.

SCOUT DAY CAMP

This is a layout of my son's week-end at Scout Camp. He was a Cub Scout when he was about 8 or 9 years old. His school picture that year was in his Cub Scout uniform.
This was a day camp that they went on. The got to spend the day at camp making campfires, cooking, tracking animals, and all around good time. They also earned some of their badges that day.

RED

This page came about for a challenge I was doing at Cafe Mom. We had to do a page of our favorite color, but we couldn't use any pictures. Just paper and journaling. Red is my favorite color. It was easy picking out the paper, but it was really hard doing it without pictures.

PIECES OF ME

This page came about while I was thinking about all the stuff I use to scrapbook. So decided to make a page. The things on this page are some of the things I use to scrapbook.

PET PEEVE

This is a page I done of one of my Pet Peeve's. There is a little convenience store near us. They sell all the junk food and sodas. I love their Fountain Cokes. Well, except for the cups. The lids tend to come of really easy. So they were selling these 32 oz. Thermal mugs and I bought one. So much better than a Styrofoam Cup. Anyway that's how this page came about.

PARK

This is a 2 page layout. It is Noah at the park. He had a great time there.

ON THE ROAD

This is a page of my hubby, Thomas. He went CoHo fishing in Michigan. Caught a really big fish. The pictures are kind of fuzzy. I didn't take the pictures, a friend that went along took them. Long before the age of digital cameras.

NOAH MOWING

This is a page I done of Noah. He's my Great Nephew. He has one of those little lawn mowers. He was mowing his living room carpet and got a couple of photos of that.

NEW KITCHEN

A few years ago we completely stripped our kitchen out. We put in a new floor, cabinets and a window. This page is the pictures of that!

MISS KITTY

This is a page I done of my cat, Miss Kitty. She died a few years ago. She was 15 and had a stroke. So this page is for her!

ME

This is a page of ME! I gathered up all my photos and put them on the page. I don't really like the way this turned out. I may have to re-do it.
